Install the tracking script
One script in your site header (Google Tag Manager works). It places the attribution cookie when someone clicks an affiliate link. No cookie consent banner needed: it is an attribution-only cookie, no PII.
Add the sign-up snippet
One line at your registration step registers the referral, using the customer email or a unique ID.
Connect Stripe
Authorize the connection once and Reditus sees your payments in real time. Commissions generate only when a referral actually pays, and refunded payments reject their commission automatically.
What the native Stripe connection gives you
The Stripe connection is Reditus's deepest payment integration, and it is how most Reditus customers run their programs. Payments stream in real time, recurring commissions follow upgrades and downgrades, and refunds reject the related commission automatically before it is ever paid out.
It also unlocks Stripe-only extras: coupon-code tracking, so affiliates can promote with a code instead of a link, and per-product commission exclusions using Stripe product metadata, so trials of specific plans or one-off charges never generate commissions you did not intend.
Prefer not to grant full Stripe account access? You can run the same program through the Reditus Payments API instead and send only unique identifiers. It is the GDPR-friendly path some Stripe customers deliberately choose.

How does the Reditus Stripe integration work?
You authorize Reditus once via the secure Stripe connection. From then on payments are visible in real time: when a referred customer pays, the commission is calculated automatically. For attribution, pass the customer email in your checkout so payments match the referral.
How long does setup take?
Typical technical installation is under 30 minutes: tracking script, sign-up snippet, and the Stripe connection. Our record is a 2.5-minute installation, though we would call that a fun fact rather than a promise.
What happens to commissions when a customer refunds?
The commission is rejected automatically if it has not been paid out yet. You never pay affiliates for refunded revenue, and buy-then-refund fraud does not reach your payouts.
Can I exclude certain plans or products from commissions?
Yes. Add metadata to the Stripe products you want excluded and they will not generate commissions.
Can affiliates use coupon codes instead of links?
Yes, with Stripe both link tracking and coupon-code tracking are available. Coupon tracking is exclusive to the Stripe connection.
What if we move off Stripe later?
Your program moves with you. Reditus works with any payment processor through the Payments API, so a billing migration does not mean losing your affiliates or their links.
